The wedding of Kapoor and Rajput will take place on 7 at the Oberoi hotel in Gurgaon’s Udyog Vihar. The card of the national award-winning actor also reflects glitz expected of a Bollywood wedding. The card, boxed in a goody filled package, has a note written towards the end saying “No gifts please. Only blessings.”
The invitation card has Mira’s parents – Bela and Vikramaditya Rajput, and Shahid’s parents Neelima Azim and Pankaj Kapur and stepmother Supriya Pathak inviting their friends and relative to the dinner party hosted at the Oberoi from 7 PM to 10 PM on July 7th.
The wedding will be followed by a reception in Mumbai on July 12th, which will see the attendance of many big names of Bollywood.
There are also rumours that Shahid will introduce his wife to the world through the reality series ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, which he judges. Mira, who has no Bollywood legacy as of now, has not appeared onscreen and what people know about her is only through a few leaked images and reports.
Meanwhile, Shahid is said to have cancelled his bachelor party, which was to happen this weekend due to hectic shooting schedule. He is currently shooting for the movie ‘Rangoon’ in which he appears on screen along with Saif Ali Khan, husband of his ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor. Saif was reportedly the first to receive the invitation for Mira-Shahid wedding.
